About me!

I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and I will always carry with me the love I have for the Bluegrass. The people, the places and the food in Kentucky have always inspired me to photograph and appreciate my surroundings. I have a huge love for people, the outdoors, food, and animals — I have a pit bull/boxer (Alfredo), and a hedgehog (Princess Bubblegum).

Although I’ve loved taking photos my whole life, I began photographing professionally in 2013 (my sophomore year of high school) when I started to get requests for senior photos, family photos and headshots. In 2015, during my junior year, I applied and was accepted into the Film and Photography class in the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts program. I attended and graduated from the program the following summer, which was an amazing experience that I encourage all young artists in Kentucky to apply to!

I moved to Northern Kentucky in 2016 after graduating high school to study photography at NKU. At school, my interest in photography expanded from primarily shooting portraits to exploring the practices of fine art photography, studio lighting and photography, real estate photography, food and commercial photography, fashion photography, and much more. I graduated in the spring of 2020 from Northern Kentucky University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art/Photography and a minor in Journalism. After graduation, I moved back to Louisville to continue working as a freelance photographer before beginning work in real estate photography. I gained lots of experience in interior and exterior real estate photography as well as in aerial drone photography, and in 2021 I received my FAA Remote Pilot certificate. In the summer of 2022 I moved to Charleston, South Carolina where I continue to freelance, just in slightly more humid conditions!

I love to use my portrait photography to explore individuals’ identities, mannerisms, and interests. I have a passion for using composition and light to create photos that showcase places, spaces and their unique features. I use lighting and color to create photos of food and products that are both visually intriguing and aesthetically pleasing.
